Iran Links Nuclear Power Plant To Grid

Iran's deputy nuclear chief was quoted as saying the plant began to generate 60 megawatts of electricity about midnight. The power plant in the southern Iranian port of Bushehr has a capacity of 1,000 megawatt power generations.

A Father Reflects On Strength And Meeting His Match

Robert Stover, 83, grew up moving from town to town. Born puny but bright, he tells his daughter, Valerie Anderson, 56, that he got beaten up a lot. Later, he married Valerie's mom, Kay, who was beautiful but scrawny and strong-willed. "She was my match. Some days, she was more than my match."

Stagnant Job Growth Renews Recession Fears

Job growth stalled completely in August, leading to renewed fears the U.S. economy could tip into recession. Employers added zero net jobs during the month, and the unemployment rate held steady at 9.1 percent. It was the first time the economy failed to add new jobs in nearly a year.
